200+ years of Family Farming
Currently being run by 3 generations of Quimby women; this 79 acres of beautifully rolling fields and hillside is used for fruit crops, horse boarding, and livestock that includes turkeys, goats & grass-fed cattle.
Centuries old barns need repair
These structures are solid but need some care. The Quimbys hope to increase the barns' structural support and be able to safely use them for future operations. These barns currently house the farm's livestock, hay, and plethura of history.
Historical hand-hewn beams
The Quimbys hope to one day expand their farm operations using the existing barns to include private or public events and a new storefront.
Crystal Brook Farms - The Elliott Family
Bicentennial Farm, settled by Thomas Elliott in 1817 and farmed by 7 generations of family.
Crystal Brook Farms is an all Jersey Dairy farm with 80 pure-bread cows, located in the historic and beautiful hills of New Kingston Valley in the Catskills, NY.
18th Century Water Wheel
The Elliott's hope to restore this 18th century water wheel that still exists under one of the hay barns they use today.
200+ Year Old Milking Barn
The main barn used for daily milking & vital operations needs a major roof repair.
